Midwest Security Administrators has a new name: UMR!

Midwest Security Administrators, Fiserv Health, and United Medical Resources have joined to form a single national business unit named UMR. Corporate parent UnitedHealthcare, a UnitedHealth Group company, has combined the third party administration (TPA) capabilities of these companies in the new UMR company and brand. UMR will continue to provide integrated health benefit management for self funded, dental, vision, disability and medical plans.

Though UMR will be a truly national TPA, with more choices and cost-saving options for self funded employers, we retain our firm belief in flexibility, accountability, and local service. As UMR, we will continue to provide customized benefits solutions and personal service to our customers. Customers will continue to receive the same benefits administration, claim processing, and customer service from the same locations and people they have come to know.

Midwest Security Administrators’ name change to UMR will not effect sister company Midwest Security Life Insurance Company or its insured product line.
